Nomad Drive survival
Last verified: 2026-10-30
Nomad Drive, the Indie Devil RV game, drains hunger, thirst, and energy across the day. A 22 June 2026 patch retuned those rates and added a vignette, a heartbeat, and washed-out color when hunger, dehydration, or poison gets critical.
This page is the priority list. It is my order, not a quest the game prints.
What I would sort first
Water first, because the same containers also feed the radiator, and a desert drive with an empty jug is two failures at once. Food and coffee second: the August 2024 diary already had electric and gas stoves, a pan, four doneness states, and spoilage, and the June 2026 patch made the fridge stop spoilage. Poison third, with medicine, because the Antidote achievement says you cure food poisoning with medicine. A first-aid kit is the Patched Up achievement, which is healing, not a cure. Weather last: storms, blizzards, and sandstorms are real enough to have a Storm Chaser achievement, and the 29 June post confirms dynamic weather. I am not writing a freeze-to-death rule. No temperature number is published.
Coffee and the fridge
The coffee machine and pot are in the store screenshots and in the 22 June notes, which fixed the pot failing to seat on the machine. Morning Brew is the coffee achievement, and Wired tracks stacked caffeine. Cans barely spoil, from the 2024 diary. The fridge is the tool that stops the clock on everything else.
Questions
What kills you first?
The published needs are hunger, thirst, and energy, plus poison as its own state. No page ranks them with numbers.
Does a medkit cure poison?
No. Medicine cures food poisoning. The first-aid kit is for healing.
