Nomad Drive’s kitchen is on the RV: an electric stove that draws the vehicle’s power, a gas stove that draws the vehicle’s gas, a pan, a fridge, and a coffee machine. The August 2024 dev diary is where those objects were introduced.

Coffee is the one recipe the achievements name outright. Morning Brew is the pot. Everything else is “cook meat in a pan” plus a garden, with gaps I am leaving open.

Stove, pan, and spoilage

The diary says each food has four states: raw, rare, well done, and burnt. Meat needs the pan. Food, drinks, and fruit spoil, spoiled food is harmful, cans barely spoil, and the fridge stops the clock. The 22 June 2026 patch repeats the fridge behavior and fixes the coffee pot failing to attach to the machine.

A June thread reports a red warning when the pan will not sit, and an October water-and-plants thread says the stove was taking steak and chicken. These are two dated player reports, not a complete recipe list.

Crops and the foods that are not recipes

The October 2024 diary lists five crops: tomato, potato, watermelon, orange, and apple, five growth stages, watering, and compost from the toilet as fertilizer. An 18 June 2026 post removed the “plants die” rule. Green Thumb and First Harvest are the achievements.

Mushrooms poison you. That shows up in the 30 October water-and-plants thread and in an August demo review that got a “curing poison” objective after eating them. I am not writing a potato recipe, a watermelon recipe, or a calorie table. None of those exist in the notes.

Use the coffee machine and the pot. A June 2026 patch fixed the pot not seating. The achievement is Morning Brew.

Can you cook potatoes?

You can grow them. A cooking method was still an open question in the October 2026 thread.
