Privacy policy

Last verified: 2026-10-30

This policy matches the scripts this site actually loads. Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and Adsterra advertising start on the first page view. The YouTube player starts only when you press Play. No other analytics, advertising or session-replay service runs here.

The cookie banner is a notice and a withdrawal control, not a gate. On a first visit with no saved choice the site records a granted choice and shows the banner while those scripts are already loading. Press Reject to stop them; the refusal is stored for 180 days. Cookie settings in the footer brings the banner back so you can change your mind.

What loads by default

Google Analytics 4 uses measurement ID G-NK3YPBNW9V. The gtag.js loader comes from googletagmanager.com and reports page views, referrers, approximate location and device information to Google Analytics. Consent Mode v2 is set with analytics_storage granted; the three advertising signals start denied and are updated by the banner. The banner explicitly updates Google consent signals alongside the site-level choice.

Microsoft Clarity uses project z5owjyimfl. Its loader comes from clarity.ms and records heatmaps, clicks, scrolls and masked session replays. Clarity supports masking; do not submit personal or sensitive information to this site. It is session-replay data, so it loads with the other two and stops when you press Reject.

Adsterra is the only advertising network on this site: publisher 3403020, website 6161829, with Native Banner unit 31998300 (NativeBanner_1) and Social Bar unit 31998301 (SocialBar_1). Both scripts come from bicea.org. Adult ads are switched off at the website level. The Social Bar is a fixed strip; this site constrains it to the viewport and remembers when you close it.

YouTube is embedded behind a Play button. Before you press it, the trailer image is a local file. After you press Play, the youtube.com player and its Google-owned media delivery services receive requests and may use cookies under their own policies. No traffic-mesh, banner SDK, tag manager or second ad network is loaded on these pages.

Cookies and localStorage keys

The site-owned preference state uses two localStorage records. Vendor-set cookies may use the nomaddrive.org domain (for example _ga and _clck) or a third-party domain. Cookie availability and lifetimes depend on vendor behavior and browser settings; inspect or delete them in your browser storage panel.

Default on, Reject, and your choices

A first visit with no saved record permits the site-level analytics, replay and advertising loaders. This is separate from Google Consent Mode: its three advertising storage signals remain denied until an explicit Accept; analytics_storage starts granted. The site writes that choice to nd_consent and shows the banner so the notice is visible while GA4, Clarity and Adsterra load. The banner has Accept and Reject buttons; it is not a blocking wall.

Reject writes denied to nd_consent for 180 days, updates Google Consent Mode, disables GA4 measurement for G-NK3YPBNW9V, asks Clarity to stop recording, removes the Adsterra scripts and hides the ad containers on that page. Reject reloads the page to terminate already-running third-party code. The next document keeps the scripts off because the saved refusal is read before any vendor loader is created. Accept reverses that and clears a remembered Social Bar dismissal.

Global Privacy Control, or a Do Not Track value of 1, is treated as Reject and stored as denied. You can reopen the banner with Cookie settings in the footer, or delete nd_consent and nd_socialbar_closed in your browser. Deleting nd_consent makes the next visit a fresh default-on visit, so use Reject if you want the refusal remembered.

Third parties, personalized ads and opt-outs

Google Analytics 4 is provided by Google. Its privacy policy is at https://policies.google.com/privacy and its opt-out browser add-on is at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Microsoft Clarity is provided by Microsoft; its privacy statement is at https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement and its data controls are in the Clarity project settings. Adsterra’s privacy policy is at https://adsterra.com/privacy-policy/. YouTube is provided by Google and covered by the same Google privacy policy.

Adsterra may select advertising based on the page and on cookie or device signals. It does not receive a name, email or account from this site, because the site has no account. To limit personalized advertising, use Google Ads Settings at https://adssettings.google.com/, the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out at https://optout.networkadvertising.org/, or YourAdChoices at https://www.youradchoices.com/. You can also write to [email protected] and ask which Adsterra unit appeared on a page.

Outbound links to Steam, PlayStation, Discord, YouTube, Nexus Mods and discussions are ordinary links. Those sites have their own policies once you leave nomaddrive.org.

Retention, legal basis and your rights

The two first-party localStorage records expire after 180 days. The GA4 and Clarity project retention settings have not been independently confirmed for this review; no exact project retention period is claimed here. Adsterra and YouTube keep data under their own policies. This static site has no visitor-account database; hosting and vendors may process network metadata under their own policies.

This build uses a default-on notice rather than a prior-consent gate. A default-on state is not evidence that you actively consented. Reject stops the site-level analytics, replay and advertising loaders and remembers the refusal. The preference record is used to remember that choice. Applicable privacy rights and any required legal basis depend on your location; this notice does not waive them.

You can ask what this policy covers, request access or erasure, or object to processing by writing to [email protected]. Because there is no account, the practical access-and-erasure path is your browser storage panel plus that email. You can also complain to a supervisory authority where you live. Changes to this policy show up as a new date on this page.

Questions

Do you use cookies?

Yes. Google Analytics 4 sets _ga and _ga_<container>; Microsoft Clarity sets _clck, _clsk, MUID, ANONCHK and SM; Adsterra sets its own cookies on bicea.org; YouTube sets player cookies after you press Play. The site itself uses localStorage keys nd_consent and nd_socialbar_closed.

Do ads load before I click Accept?

Yes. A first visit is treated as granted and GA4, Clarity and Adsterra start with the page. Press Reject to stop them and remember the refusal for 180 days.

How do I withdraw?

Use Cookie settings in the footer and choose Reject. Deleting the preference instead returns the site to its default-on state on the next visit.
