Nomad Drive is in Early Access on Steam. The store page dates that launch to 27 October 2026. It is not a 1.0 release.

An earlier public target was 20 October 2026. On 18 October the studio said that day would not hold, and pointed to the last week of October instead.

What changed in October 2026

The 18 October news post blamed a crowded Steam review queue and moved the launch off the 20th. The store record that followed is 27 October 2026 for Early Access on Windows.

The store FAQ says the studio’s target is to leave Early Access in 6 to 12 months. The same FAQ says 1.0 is meant to add biomes, more RV customization, and deeper survival and crafting, and that the Early Access price sits below the later 1.0 price.

Did Nomad Drive release on 20 October 2026?

That was the earlier target. The 18 October post said it would miss that day. Early Access is dated 27 October 2026 on Steam.

When is version 1.0?

The store FAQ gives a 6–12 month target from Early Access and does not name a day.

Is it on PS4 or Switch 2?

I found no official PS4 or Switch announcement on the check date. PS5 has a concept page; Switch does not.
