Nomad Drive demo

The Nomad Drive demo is a free, separate Steam app, number 4568400, released 15 June 2026. It is the official way to try the game without buying Early Access.

On 26 October 2026 the studio replaced that demo. The post says old demo saves do not work with the new one. Early Access itself opened the next day.

How long it is

A developer reply on 16 June 2026 called the demo an endless road for the repair, driving, and survival loop. The full game, in that same reply, was described as three biomes, more than 20 locations, and five vehicles. Because the demo is described as endless, I am not printing a “time to beat.”

Videos titled as if the demo has an ending are community playthroughs hitting a content edge or a bug. They are not a story ending in the patch notes. On 30 October 2026 the demo store URL redirected to the main game page. That page’s review widget belongs to the paid game, not a separately verified demo score. The demo API and the official October announcement are the download records.

What is in, and what players say is missing

One Steam discussion reply says the winter map is in the full game rather than the demo. This restriction has one community source. A 17 October feedback thread lists missing side doors, a treasure goal that appears before you have a metal detector, and no backpack inventory. An independent write-up from 31 August 2026 also describes hitching and an empty-feeling world. Those are reports, not a patch list.

“Demo nexus” in search is the mod site, not a second demo. Nexus hosts community plugins for the game. The demo download itself is still the Steam app.

Where is the Nomad Drive demo?

On Steam as app 4568400. It is free and separate from the Early Access purchase.

Do old demo saves still work?

The 26 October 2026 post says the new demo does not accept old demo saves.

Does the demo support co-op?

Yes, it supports online co-op. The May 2026 post said 1–3 for the Next Fest demo. The full game lists 1–4. The current demo cap is not documented.

Is there a demo ending?

The developer described an endless road. I am not treating a video thumbnail as a story ending.
