Nomad Drive RV repair

Nomad Drive expects you to repair the RV before it is worth driving. A 22 June 2026 patch says a failed start now tells you which problem it is: missing or broken engine, dead battery, empty fuel, or the handbrake still on.

That prompt is the closest thing to an official order. The rest of this page is a diagnosis list built from that note plus later patch notes. It is not a quest log.

Tools the patches actually name

Dev diary 1, August 2024, introduces repair kits for tires and the engine, plus upgrade parts for the engine, generator, and battery. The 18 June 2026 post adds a grinder, polisher, cleaner, and paint, and says basket and battery-charger spawns were raised. The 17 June post says engine, battery, and tire wear were rebalanced. The 22 June post reworked the heat model so the engine can actually reach an overheat.

Achievements named Grease Monkey and Master Mechanic track repairing 1 part and 25 parts. They confirm that “repair a part” is a tracked action. They do not say how much a kit restores.
