Nomad Drive map and biomes

Nomad Drive does not publish a world map, and I am not drawing one. A mod author wrote that the base game has no map and that their mod adds one. That sentence has a single source. I will not upgrade it to “the studio confirmed there is no map,” and I will not invent a key that opens one.

What is documented is the road, the signposts, a compass, and a disagreement about how many biomes exist.

Three, or four

Dev diary 4, 22 July 2025, calls the desert “the first of four biomes.” A developer reply on 16 June 2026 says the full game has three different biomes. After Early Access, store screenshots and the Winterland achievement show snow, and another screenshot shows a grassland highway. So desert, snow, and grassland are visible. Whether the total is three or four is the contradiction, and I am leaving both numbers on the page.

One October discussion reply says the winter map is only in the full game, not the demo. This restriction has one community source, not a current official content list.

Questions

Is the Nomad Drive world random?

The store calls it generated, and players attach a seed number to a save. See the seeds page for what that number is and is not.

How many biomes are there?

A 2025 diary says four, starting with desert. A June 2026 reply says three. Both stay.
